Accreditation
 

A member must obtain a minimum of 30 credits per year for renewal of Founder or Ordinary Membership. Anyone not obtaining 30 credits may be enrolled only as an Associate Member.

The credits may be obtained in the following manner:

MCPP workshop: 4 credits

- review of the handout
- attendance for the workshop
- self-assessment quiz

MCPP lecture 1 credit
Attendance at Symposia & Conferences in Pharmacy Practice* 2 credits
Publication of a paper* 4 credits
Distance Learning Package through MCPP variable
Workshop facilitation**
6 credits
Participation in pharmacy practice research 2 credits
 
* Evidence must be presented (accepted only at the discretion of the Council)
** Facilitators will be selected at the discretion of the Council

It is important to note that at least 25 credits must be obtained through attending MCPP workshops and lectures. Another 5 credits may be obtained by other means (as stated above), if so desired.
